Goal setting for realizing your success!
Imagine you have been invited to a friend's house. You have not seen her since 1990 and are very excited to catch up. Even though you know your way around town very well, you do not know the neighborhood she lives in that well, so you ask for the exact location and directions to her house. You write the directions, because you want to get there and in time of course (traffic permitting).
So let's look at this for a second .... There is a destination - your friend's house - and since you really want to get there you take the time to write down the directions securing you will get there. Destination ... wanting to get there ... writing down directions ... hmmm what is the parallel to life here?
Our life is our most significant journey and yet we tend to not jot down our destination, our goals and direction we would like to see ourselves going. Why don't we? We do it in other areas of life and overlook the application to our biggest journey ... LIFE!
There are many studies out there supporting the practice of goal setting to achieve happiness and success in your life! When it comes to realizing your dreams writing down your goals, and keeping a progress-journal is key. It works and just take s a few minutes per week! Don't procrastinate... JUST DO IT!!
