Last week I had an unexpected run-in with passion. I had lunch at a lovely little café in Summerland. I was planning on having one of their delicious salads until the owner of Café Luna pointed out their new Woodfire Pizza’s “and you get to meet the chef too” the owner said.

So, pizza it was. After meeting Chef Giuseppe from Palermo and seeing the passion in his eyes when we asked him to tell us about the pizza, I knew this was going to be a very tasty pizza! And it was. The moment the pizza arrived at our table you could just see the passion, love and dedication Giuseppe pours into his craft. With recipes from his mother and his own passion for bringing a little piece of Palermo to Summerland, he had me experience the best woodfire pizza ever.

So beside the fact that I will be going back to Café Luna soon, I would like to remind you of this quote from Nelson Mandela:

Living our passion is our true purpose in life. Passion connects us with our highest potential; it shows you at your best. Whenever you connect with your passion, your life gets a lot easier. It flows effortlessly.

It can be a bit scary at times to follow your passion since it may be way out of your current reality. Trust me on this one. For ONE WEEK do something EACH DAY that feeds your passion. You will be amazed how many little things you can do that will feed your passion and make life flow a little easier!
